The
Galactic Gala: A Cocktail Party and Auction to Benefit Investigation
Station and the New Port Richey Progress Energy Art Gallery
In an effort to raise money for the
museum, Gordon Engebretson, local artist who designed all of the images
for the From the Sun to Pluto exhibit, is donating images to Investigation Station for auction.
Local astronomers will have their telescopes set up for Gala guests to
view the heavens. Live music will be provided by local musicians
that make their own instruments. The event will be
held March 15, 2013 at the Atria Baypoint Village in Hudson on SR 52 from 6
to 9 PM. To buy tickets, please call
or email
Lisa Campos (727-459-7331) or stop by the Progress Energy Art Gallery on Grand
Blvd, just south of Main Street in downtown New Port Richey.
