  • Investigation Station makes fun learning opportunities available throughout Pasco County.

    • Try our "Kidstruction" exhibit at one of the Pasco County Library branches. This exhibit features Keva Planks and design ideas for your little one to create imaginative structures and a wrecking ball to then knock them down. There is no charge for this program.

    • From the Sun to Pluto is our first permanent outdoor exhibit that is located along the bicycle trail in Starkey Park. This exhibit consists of 10 heavenly bodies in our solar system, each highlighted by beautiful original artwork by Gordon Engebretson as well as fun facts and mathematical formulas to figure one's age and weight on the other planets and the sub-planet Pluto. Park near shelter #5 and take the foot path to the bicycle trail. There is no charge for this program.

    • Our mobile exhibits are available to classrooms, scout troops, home-school co-ops and others who would like to have an on-site field trip come to them.  Most of these exhibits include a presentation, a hands-on activity and a make-and-take project.  Click on the Exhibits on Tour tab for more information. There is a $75 group rate or $3 charge per person for this service.  For groups over 75, there is an additional $1 fee per person, to cover the cost of supplies.

  • Local artist Kristyn Start of KES Miniatures has created some beautiful jewelry for Investigation Station to sell as a fundraiser for our newest project.  Below are "Whirlpool" and "Solarwalk."  They are $28 each, plus shipping.  Please send an email with your order.

  • From the Sun to Pluto, is now officially open in Starkey Wilderness Park!!!  With artwork by Gordon Engebretson and fun facts about each solar body by Michelle Cordeiro, everyone will be impressed by the vibrant images and learn something new about our solar system while biking or hiking this one-mile long exhibit.  Park by shelter #5 and take the foot path beside the restrooms out to the bike trail.
(Investigation Station volunteers, and supporters accompany Commissioner Pat Mulieri and artist Gordon Engebretston in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the From the Sun to Pluto exhibit.)
